The photos presented are a representation of the creativity and vision these students have learned to show throughout the semester. Learning about the technical aspects of photography, the business sides of photography, and the meaningful sides as well. This class has taught them valuable life skills that’ll surely help them in the future. Whether that be a future business venture, or simply a fun new hobby they’ll hold on to. I’m sure that these kids have a bright future no matter what they decide to do.
This class is taught by Malik Blaylark, a local published Photographer. He’s been teaching through the Flipside program since October of 2022. Since then, students have been his main reason for continuing his journey as a teacher. Because of the students enthusiasm, he continues to learn and grow as a photographer himself in order to better teach new and reoccurring students.
